Anti Spam Policy

Spam Assassin
Our policy with Spam Assassin is that we do not block any email, we simply flag the email as spam by adding ***SPAM*** to the subject line of the email, along with a short description of why the email was flagged and the original email. Email that is automatically dropped by a mail server can be a real pain for both sender and reciever thus no email is dropped. Occasionally emails are flagged by spam assassin as spam when they shouldn't, this does not happen very often but it does happen thus we decided not to drop any mail flagged by spam assassin.

We suggest clients should be educated on spam and what can be done to keep inboxs free of junk mail. By flagging the subject of an email, a rule can be setup in an email client to move spam to a seperate folder / recycle bin.
