Transfer Vs Bandwidth: The advantages of a transfer package over the bandwidth option is that your server gets the maximum speed at all times, but you will be charged if you go over your allotted transfer limit. The difference with the bandwidth packages are that they a fixed price as your transfer limit is capped via the speed of the bandwidth connection. Monthly Transfer: We will not cut your site off if you reach your monthly transfer limit. We monitor usage and will bill you appropriately at the cost of £2.50 per gigabyte over your allotted transfer limit. If your expect your server will use more bandwidth this can be accounted for. Max Monthly Transfer: The maximum monthly transfer is approximately the theoretical limit of the specified bandwidth. Dedicated Bandwidth: The higher the bandwidth the quicker clients will be able to download from your site. The bandwidth is dedicated see contention ratio below. This is allows for routing fixes via BGP, security updates and other miscellaneous unforeseen problems. 100 MB internal LAN: To save on your monthly transfer limit we can provide an internal 100MB LAN between each of your servers. Reboot Port: All dedicated servers come connected to a reboot switch. If any time you wish to reboot your server you can. We provide this service for free as we find it an essential when hosting server's remotely. Details will be provided upon ordering on how to reboot your server. Root Access: Full root access essential when setting up your server thus it is provided. We do however recommend that use sudo where possible. Load Balancing: We can offer a layer 4 load balancing service between your servers. This is an ideal service for load balancing your clients over a web farm, enabling minimum downtime as servers can be patched and updated with your clients having no knowledge.
